Program to Reduce the Use of Paper and Plastic on Campus
- RUS uses the application to notify public relations to keep personnel in the agency informed. By sending in an electronic file via the Trusty eSign! application. Notification of new documents to personnel to reduce the use of paper and also indirectly reduce the amount of CO2.
- Paper used one page is reused in the offices/ departments of the university. There are boxes dedicated specifically to recycled paper.
- RUS encourages personnel and students to reduce the use of plastic, use lunch boxes instead of foam boxes, use fabric bags instead of plastic bags, use drinking glasses instead of single-use plastic glasses, not use straws, use double-sided paper, reuse plastic bags by publicizing through various channels such as social media, the university personnel line, Student Development Division's Facebook page, website, and public relations boards for students.
- The ECOLIFE project invites personnel and students in the university to stop using disposable plastics to reduce the amount of waste that will occur by collaborating with various stores in the canteen and university as well as to join the program to receive special privileges and discounts from stores.
- The Student Development Division reduces paper usage by preparing a satisfaction assessment form for participating in the project and electronic certificates through QR Code scanning as well as applying the principle of 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle), which is one of the measures to reduce waste disposal and is also a guideline for the cost-effective use of available resources.
