Conservation: plant (flora), animal (fauna), and wildlife, genetic resources for food and agriculture secured in either medium or long-term conservation facilities

          The university has managed a plant genetic conservation project under the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn annually. The project consists of

          Sub-activity 1: The exploration of food plants and herbs utilization, data collection on utilization of local plants in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province.

          Sub-activity 2: The survey to collect local knowledge on food plants and herbs of local Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province for further research on plants and herbs such as mulberry, basil. 

          Sub-activity 3: The dissemination of local wisdom, food plants and herbs, such as bolete mushrooms, Yanang leaves

          Resource cultivation activities, Rhino Fish farming project for conservation and processing of products from rhinoceros fish, Training on the rearing and conservation of rhinoceros fish
